Yeah, the kilt was a big hit.

Yes, we were married at the local ROCOR parish, St. Panteleimon's.

Did you get many old ladies telling you to take the skirt off? (not that I think of it that way, but I'm sure some of them did) hehe... My best friend was also married in a kilt. :)

Well..my family has been involved in bagpipe bands off and on for years and I worked at a Scottish import company so I have a couple kilts in the closet. Plus I already had most everthing else. Also, I am not terribly fond of tuxes. Seemed like a logical choice.

Love the kilt. Really.

But if you plan to wear that to our Church it better be well past the knees. :D
