I am sick

Readers of my blog already know, but I have gotten sick and would like to ask all of your prayers please.

I think there must be an epidemic of common cold-flu virus/ strepto-sinus/ allergy related malady. Theodora spent all of last week, which was her spring break, in bed with a litany of symptoms, and is still complaning of such though she is up and around. Myself, I just took some cold-like symptoms yesterday. <Ugh!> But on the bright side, I will get a G and T for lunch -- one of the few valid folk remedies. I know we are in Lent but as the ancient idiom goes: Neccesity permits what is prohibited.

Thank you Joseph and Jakub. Unfortunately I had to miss work today for this, but I am hoping and praying that I can make it in tomorrow.

The best remedy would be chicken noodle/rice soup but its Fast time, so load up with lots of cranberry juice.
