Thankyou for the continued prayers for me, please pray that all goes well for me tomorrow at my doctor's appointment as well. This will be my first appointment to make sure everything (the baby, etc.) is doing well....I won't be online tomorrow either since I'll be at the doctor's... I will be back online Weds though. Thankyou again!

In Christ,
Mary Kissel

We shall continue praying for you, Justin and your unborn son or daughter (or perhaps both!)

thankyou :) I have a feeling that it might be a girl :) don't know how but it's just a feeling that I have..... though I'd be happy with either as long as he or she were a healthy baby. :)

I have a special place in my heart from pregnant women, you're in my prayers and God bless! In both my pregnancies I prayed to to Bogoroditsa (Theotokos) St. Pareskeva (Svetka Petka) especially for intercession. I don't know if they are the traditonal "Saints" of childbirthing or whatever but I just felt a strong desire to pray to them to protect and guide me.

With my son, whom I birthed at home, I had a big huge icon of the Theotokos and St. Petka in the corner over the birthing pool. I was completely relaxed during the long labor and when I was about 8 cm and started to get heavy pains I would look up to the icons and still feel the pain but not scream or anything, just relaxing and feling the pains but feeling at peace. When my son was born after he swam for a a few seconds and my midwife placed him on my chest. He looked up at me totally peacfully, not crying or anything and put his little hand up grabbed this wooden cross I had (from a Monatsery called Ostrog in Montengro) around my neck. I just looked at him and felt that I already knew him and started crying because it was such a beautiful experience, compared to my first in the hospital who was whisked away to be cleaned off before I could even look at her up close. I am not trying to sound like a hippie but it was a very heavy experience.

In Christ,
Tessa

Mary had a miscarriage (or... something). Whatever the case, there unfortunately isn't a child on the way.
