St. Nectarios of Pentapolis wrote:
"Our Church honors saints not as gods, but as faithful servants, as holy men and friends of God."
St. Silouan of Holy Mt. Athos wrote about the saints:
"The Saints were people just like ourselves. Many of them stated with grievous sins but through repentance they attained the Kingdom of Heaven. And every one who comes to the Kingdom of Heaven does so through repentance which the Merciful Lord granted us by His sufferings."
St. Silouan also wrote:
"The Saints in heaven through the Holy Spirit behold the glory of God and the beauty of the Lord's Countenance."
Logos:
While there may not be a specific saint for what you are looking for....from personal experience I can say that St John of Shanghai and St Xenia of Petersburg have been of particular help in that department. Also, while I am not a male nor called Seraphim, I consider St Seraphim to be my patron saint. When in particular need I always find solace from him.

Pray to Blessed Margaret of Costello if you can. She was born blind and deformed, and lived her early childhood in an outhouse because her well-to-do parents were too ashamed of her.
She later joined a group of Dominican tertiaries, was renowned for her acts of charity and penance, and was persecuted by some of her unworthy sisters, to the point of being driven out of the order.
Through a lifetime of rejection and gratuitous pain (pain is never gratuitous!) Christ was her mainstay and her light; her best friend and Savior. She was assuredly On the Road to Heaven for Sure through all that pain. God bless, Logos!
