In that people here consider your opinions, for the most part, to be peculiar and unsound, why do you persist here? I don't think we have shown ourselves to be potential converts to conspiracy/paranoia theories.

Actually I learned all about The NWO Zionist stuff, after reading Artemon's links, I checked it out and I asked my Spiritual Father if there are such things as a New World Order and are the Jews behind it, and not only did he assure me there is, but he gave me, the book published by The Church Abroad, I thinkit's called "Orthodox Life" or Orthodox Word" It was the November 1996 Issue and It showed Prophecies about NWO and Future Ecumenical Council which will occer after The Roman (Byzintine) Empire is restored in whicj the Church will finalil ANATHEMATISE ANY and EVERYONE who's involved in the Masonic order, if you don't believe me just go and get that Issue, these are Propheciesed by our Orthodox Saints, Plus I read Elder Paissios's book (The one with The Sunset on MT.Athos with The Elder's Face on it) in his book he Clearly says that a Zionist conspirousy does exist.[/u]

What you seem to mean is, you listened to your spiritual father (who is of course also unqualified to hold an opinion anyway-- he's a cleric, not a historian) and looked at a bunch of crackpot sites, and didn't bother to read anything from a legitimate site or appraoch what you did read with any skepticism. So yes, you do approach this with "blind faith"-- faith in sources which do not merit it.

Ah, but you are neglecting a far more likely scenario. Governments are, by their nature, predisposed to enlarge and impose more control and in general become more despotic. Even if the government didn't have any involvement in making this happen, it was a ready-made excuse to increase "security" and take actions which ordinarily it would impossible to justify or get away with.

And that is the explanation that has prevailed. The government didn't do these acts, but it found in them excuses to invade Afghanistan and Iraq and to ignore a lot of constitutional prohibitions.

Have you ever walked through an old churchyard/burial ground? If so, it is very common to see markers for "Infant" or for children who died before adulthood. Some causes were: Measles, Mumps, Diptheria, Whooping Cough, Tuberculosis, infections or malnutrition. Then there are the ones for women who died due to childbirth: uncontrolled bleeding, sepsis and "Childbed Fever". Adult men died of disease and accidents and infections as well.
