Many Orthodox today are more busy trying to be "correct," as opposed to being Christian. I strongly object to this mentality.

I agree. So quite it. You ruin people's threads. Example, your remark to Fr. Siluan's post about Daily Conduct. Judgement.

Your reaction to Despotovac about the Serbian nuns. Judgement. Are you a Serbian nun living in Serbia? Who are you to make judgement on how they react to their situation. They LIVE in Serbia. And you say they are ethnocentric. They LIVE there. And your reaction:

Who cares? Serbia is ecumenistic.

You don't correct, you judge. And you insult. And you were corrected there. Are you going to apologize to them(without justification)?

And of course, as I said, you cannot give a simple apology without justification.

And the reason I point these out to you is because your post are offensive. I don't believe that I'm the only one.

You ruin the threads with your judgements.

What I gather from you is that you belittle me and attack me personally. I don't do this to you

You do this with every post, by telling us that we are all liars and totally devoid of virtues and so on. You have judged all of us here by your general comments. By questioning my understanding about obedience and putting me down for things you think I don't understand. You make insults in your round about way. You even condemned all of Serbia by one sentence.

No pride, you say. :ohvey:

Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. (Ps. 50)
In logic, this is called a "non sequitur."
No, he's right. The NC was accepted for the express purpose of ecumenism.
I never yet have met an Orthodox Christian, whose parish uses the "New Calendar", who supports ecumenism and/or supports anti-Orthodox and heretical teachings.
By using the new calendar, they are supporting ecumenism and support anti-Orthodox and heretical teachings. They just live a lie.

Joasia, have you ever heard of turning the other cheek? Worry about yourself.

Inco,

I thought you were dead.

Joasia, have you ever heard of turning the other cheek?

Is that your way of saying that you can't take what you dish out?

Worry about yourself.

You should follow your own advice.

Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. (Ps. 50)

It has been my experience since 2002, that the internet seems to bring out the worst in people. People behave in ways that they would never in person. I don't believe Orthodox Christians should even use the internet. I'm about ready to throw my computer in the trash.

Is this an apology?

It is better to dwell in the wilderness, than with a contentious and an angry woman. [Proverbs 21:19].
