Who is he? I've never heard of him. And why is he holy? What did he do?

Do you see how your attitude is the reflection of your hatred? And you say we're cold?

My attitude? I just asked a question. Who is this Jose? lol

I wonder how many people here have heard of Saint Guthlac of England. He lived before the schism of 1054.

Ok, I read about Brother Jose here [ http://www.roca.org/OA/149/149c.htm ].

He was murdered. But I see no evidence he was a saint or blessed one. He had no miracles, was not clairvoyant, and did not die specifically for the faith, as far as I can tell. So he wasn't a martyr. I think churches today are too quick to canonize people. True, I don't have all the facts about Brother Jose, and I stand corrected and apologize if I have misrepresented him in anyway.

That was not the conclusion of the Greek police as reported in the Greek media.

I will not say, since I do not have the texts available to cite. Let's just let the man rest in peace.

On what basis do they conclude he was Blessed? Just because someone is murdered, does not make them a saint.
