We aren't to make judgments about the Greeks but we are to make judgments about the Ukranians???????? I don't understand.

Way to miss the point. Lord, have mercy.

Feel free to do your own research on the history and theology of this group and reach your own conclusions, but please, don't be shocked and appalled until you do. Look, I'm Puerto Rican, I have no vested interest in things either Greek or Ukrainian.

None of us (and certainly not catechumens!) has carte blanche to judge the Church....we are to flee the temptation of making ourselves the measure of Orthodoxy, which is so common in this age of information overloads.

The people who make themselves the measure of Orthodoxy and who judge the Church (deficient) are the ones who change Holy Tradition and, especially, introduce new teachings (ie. heresy). Orthodox Christians, at least the ones who plan on staying Orthodox, listen to all the Holy Fathers, Saints, and Councils of the Church and flee from these unorthodox people - they are not "judges", rather they are the only ones who are following the Church.

I am not impressed at all by money and numbers of followers any group has. I am only impressed that they preach Orthodoxy and are only in communion with the same. This is the measure we are all commanded to follow.

Amen to OOD.

I think my point may have been missed by Julio

Why is ok to make ourselves the measure of Orthodoxy when it comes to the Ukranian group but not when it comes to the OCA , Greeks, etc.?

OOD, I quite agree with what you wrote, but I fail to see how any of it speaks to what I said to a person with very limited options indeed in his area.

Nathanael, if what you considering "canonical" and "truly Orthodox" is enjoying intercommunion with Roman Catholics and Uniats and a notorious history of vagantism, fine. Seriously, the reaction is as though someone had said that the Kiousis Synod is outside The Church! Again, the point is that the group in question is not an Old Calendar Church, or any kind of a traditional Orthodox Church--it's quite another type of community.

Why do you consider them not Orthodox? How are they different from the rest?

Well, again, I have posted links to their official policy of intercommunion, as well as to the main page of their website, in which one may find details their history down their most recent developements. All should feel free to peruse these, conduct their own research, and arrive at their independent conclusions. :-)
