Much as we all decry philitism....... the sad fact is that we are ALL guilty of it regardless of whether it is (pick whatever ethnicity) or whether it's all English. We forget to be Orthodox first and then whatever ethnicity second.

Personally I hate it ......

XB!

It is hurts that you are far from Argentina, because here there are parishes of the Jurisdiction that you mention that they can treat you worse, although can also treat bad you in EP or where you go  . Everything because of the extreme nationalism and Philetism. We are trying to do something different, May God helps us

I know an anecdote. A person that entered in a MP parish and he asked "are you Christian? " and they responded "No, we are orthodox Russian" (good, this is understandable in MP ). But this is really lamentable and this happens in almost all the parishes of Argentina, of any jurisdiction.

Thanks, Ekaterina for the list of churches. However they are all too far away.
The ROCOR church I attend is about 40 miles one way from me,
and all the others that you list are even further away.
I must consider moving, or some other solution. Thank you for your help.

Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner.

I'm sorry I couldn't be of better help. At least as you consider your next move you will know where to consider as possible places. Fear not, if it is GOD's will, you will end up where you need to be. Pray to St. John of Shanghai and I believe he will help you find a place near a church and near a good job.

Good Luck and God be with you,

Katya
