What if this 'wonder' is really demonic???? satan (I never write his name with a capital 's', just to get on his nerves) can transform himself into an angel of light and he can 'copy' some of God' s miracles... What he could never copy, was the HOLY FIRE miracle!
The miracle of the Cross in 1937 should not and is not the cause of Orthodox Christians to remain steadfast in the faith, it just an affirmation. Now of course it could be said (and it is) that the ecumenist church has been pushing its “saints” and have their miracles too…and so do the Roman Catholics and the Muslims. This is why, as everyone knows, Christ warns us not to believe even the most convincing miracles (“even an angel from heaven”) unless they support and transmit Holy Tradition, the faith of our Fathers and Saints.
Only true believing Orthodox Christians who maintain communion only with true bishops can claim any kind of miracle or saint. Others are just promoting their “angels from heaven” who Christ Himself calls the accursed. Therefore, this is how we say the Miraculous Cross was a true miracle and leave everything else to gnosticism.
