PASCHA!

Post by Justin2 »

Really, though, the period starting from Great Lent, all the way through the end of Bright Week! It's great. It's even greater that every Orthodox Christian is celebrating Pascha on the same day, and the hymns are beautiful! And I don't know about anyone else, but for years, Pascha has been sunny and warm (which is a miracle in the Pacific Northwest!) up here. Pascha is wonderful, but the entire Lenten period is integral to it. The break is nice, but I miss the frequency of services after Pascha.

Bright Week, partially because of the preparation to get there.
