I'm not trying to pry. This is just from concern.

:)

That's perfectly ok! I enjoy people's curiosity. Yes we have two midwives who will be attending the birth, also a doula which kind of gets stuck doing all the dirty work the midwives don't do(-cleaning up, etc.). Although there are people who purposely birth "unassisted" that's not a route I am really interested in going down. Being Rh-, my baby's blood has to be tested right after it's born and I sometimes need a shot. I feel more comfortable having someone there to help with that and who knows what to do if any other complications were to arise.

One gripe I have though! My insurance WON'T cover homebirth this time, as they did before. They will cover a $3,000 + bill for drugs and hospital time and won't cover $125 for someone to come to my house to catch a baby. RRRRgh! It's not a lot of money but the principle.

ANyways keep me in your prayers everyone.

Wow you dedicated your wonderful baby Nectaria to Saint Nectarius of Aegina? Know that Sveti Nektarije will always be your help at any times! (Of course, all Saints are.) But aren't you using the old calendar? When your daughter was born on Saint Nestor's day. Unless you will celebrate her name day on November 22/9.
