Thanks for putting the words in my mouth. I didnt mean that its all about image. I know that Ecumenism is a bad thing, but the "world" Orthodox Churches have not done any thing yet to be declared heretical churches.
Even the change in calender was not a dogmatic or theological change.
Breaking and going into Schism is worse then what we are talking about.

Yes I have been Orthodox for 2 whole days. Now Three. There are Catechumens who could run circles around you when it comes to knowledge and understanding of Orthodoxy theology. So dont try to sound so High and mighty.

I would say union with the heterodox would count. Ecumenism is an anathematized heresy. Union with Monophysites, etc cannot just be called a mistake that we can overlook.

Nektarios,

Who is in schism, the one in communion with a host of heretics (ie. Bartholomew, Monophysties, Latins) or the one refusing to be?

Simple question really.

Even thought I am totaly against ecumenism, I was not aware that "World Orthodox" Churches were in Full Communion with the Monophysites and with The Roman Catholics. If thats the case how come I havnt seen a actually con-celebration between the Pope and a Orthodox Patriarch? Not thouse pictures on the ROAC website where the EP did the liturgy of the word with the Latins. That was realy wrong i would like to add.

I remember reading a quote by a saint who was talking about Schismatics. It wanst a good opinion.

When some one can actually prove that the "mainstream" Orthodoxy is in FULL Communion with Heretics. then I will answer your question OOD.

Nektarios,

"Full Communion" is, as far as I can tell, Latin terminolgy - as if there can be a "partial communion".

Would you not consider the acceptance of any heretic "mystery" as being real a state of "communion" (of "Grace")?

I wouldnt consider the recognition of heretic "mysteries" full communion, I would call it a serious error. Taking part and participateing in the worthless heretic "mysteries" I would say is complete apostasy and heretical.

What do you think about the Jerusalem and Serbian Patriarchate?
