Where? When? Will the decisions be published in such a way that we will not have to worry about documents being changed, truncated, or translated in a misleading way? (I'm not accusing anyone, but obviously someone is fudging the truth, or at least being selective with their facts...)

It's funny you say that.... when the alternate site was first brought up on "Orthodox-Tradition", Reader Jerjis Alajaji claimed that it was "certain" that the documentation Fr Elia was referring to was forged.

That is, until he was advised to go to Kinko's and have it scanned, which it seems apparent he did.

Don't know who would make a suggestion like that to a technophobe like Fr Elia though. :D

Mr Suaiden,

Why are you commemorating Met Valentine? Are you still attending an Antiochian Church? How can you be hopping around so much? Do you have a spiritual father to guide you, because it doesn't seem with all the tragic and extreme changes we keep reading about that you do.

I say this not to attack you but out of concern. You should commemorate the bishop of the Church you attend, even if you have warm fuzzy feelings about ROAC.

Please note that I do not subscribe to "Old Calendar Ecumenism" and believe that only the Synod of Archbishop Kallinikos is the canonical GOC of Greece. I do believe, however, that we can break down barriers and misunderstandings through prayer and discussion on forums such as this one.

Dear Joseph,

I feel your pain my son as you struggle with issues of Church politics. I think that the only solution is for you to join the true Church of Jesus Christ, the True UAOC-Sobornopravna Church. I am Metropolitan of this Church. We have five missions in the United States, and I would be happy to talk to you about ordaining you to a position as a missionary priest in your hometown. We are not a vagante or otherwise non-canonical Church, but a true, confessing catacomb Church.

With Love in Christ,

+Vladyka Iosif

I wrote about this in an essay on that site.... and I am not "hopping around".... to the contrary, I was a member of ROAC before I ever went to the Carpatho Russians.

You were with the Carpatho Rusyns, TOO?

Please provide the link to this essay you wrote as I would like to read it, but have a hard time seeing some of the things on your site due to the black background with blue type hurting my eyes.

Thank you!
