Bishop Gabriel of ROCOR— No communion with MP, JP or Serbi

I have serious doubts he's the voice of reason... and we are currently in communion with the Serbs, no ifs ands or buts.

I am new here, a Byzantine Catholic [though raised in the Roman Church] and have always found Orthodox canonicity totally confusing: who is in and who is out and how do you tell? Who is in communion with whom? And who is in communion with who is in communion with whom ? And etc?
All in all , thank God I am Catholic. Posters go on and on about the divisions in the Catholic Church but in the end it is pretty simple; does anyone seriously entertain the thought that the SSPX or "Pope" Michael or for that matter some liberal bishop represents the mind of the Church?

Unfortunately, +Bishop Gabriel is in the minority. His voice will be silenced.
One hears so much about disunity, etc. That is an interesting consideration. It has to do with the True Church, the Orthodox Church, affirming the sovereignty of local churches and given them self-governance and it has to do with ultimate authority. All local churches are equal branches of the ONE CHURCH. They are independent and just as legitimate as any other. Authority in the Orthodox Church rests in a witness to the TRUTH, as expressed in the phronema and manifested in Scripture, Tradition, the Canons, etc. That is the abiding presence of the Holy Spirit which has been acquired by the Saints and lives in them, enhypostastized in them. Bodies in opposition to that lose authority, become questionable. This is where latin ecclesiology is shown to be its most heretical, for one man has infallible authority, hence possesses a "super-phronema", is Christ's vicar (as grace is a creature and impersonal to these heretics), and a "prince of the church", which he is supposedly empowered to be a monarch over. There is no freedom, no affirmation of a partnership of equals bringing the People of God to salvation, but a clerical satrapy empowered to loose and bind people to a law he makes up and to absolve them of sin as he constantly defines and redefines what sin is. The Orthodox model is that of the Apostles and what is the ecclesiology of the True Church, the latin model that of heretics. If the Church's model is disorganized, it is precisely because it is free; whereas, the latin model is enslaved to a man--there are no "autocephalies" in the latin church. Consider ORTHODOXY, the TRUE FAITH!!!

If by "Pope" Michael of Delia KS, the man is a total vagante. a year or so ago a friend visited his "chapel" and it was just one end of his garage. just an altar and rail. No papal throne, nothing. if your the last bishop on earth (as he believes) why do you not even have a proper chapel of some sort. the man is a Vagante pure and simple. He was "ordained" a bishop by Vagantes after being "ordained" a priest by them.
