I only first heard about him when he was written up by the MP, I believe, in a news item. I looked him up and was dismayed by his robot, boring, dull look.

In the film Superman (1978), Lois Lane puts on a blue dress for her first "date" (interview) with Superman. When Superman is running late, she remarks to herself: "Cinderella bites the dust". Moments later, during their encounter, she stands behind the flower planter and asks Superman what color underwear is she wearing. The planter is lead and he cannot see through lead, but later as she moves away from behind it, he blurts out "pink". So you have the blue dress and pink underwear motif of the Monica Lewinsky affair shown beforehand in Superman (1978). I won't mention the names but I always tuned out whenever the names were cited anywhere. As though there was something
false involved. So this is what it was. Makes sense to me. Purpose would be to ter rify the population ? Throw them off balance ? Rivet the mass mind's attention to scary stories and thus keep them from noticing the big picture topics.
All that analysis of the fake incidents, for example, at parties or social gatherings, provides "entertainment" where guests might be otherwise awkward in meeting new people. These sensational stories give people something "safe" about which to talk, in the sense that all present can participate. It's an automatic ice-breaker at any social occasion. Thus, people don't have to make the slightest EFFORT to ask another about his or her life or have a real discussion. This sensationalistic news substitutes for that. [Then, too, sociopaths on the prowl can more readily pick their prey, for no one at the party is paying much attention to individuals. Rather, the emphasis is on some external event. A sociopath could hide himself easily while all debate whether Jodi Arias is - ha ha ! - a sociopath. [ I don't know her case, and don't want to ! Something horrible.

I think that these shocking events are sent out in waves so that the restless public never gets bored ! There is always a new slant or nuance presented, in order to keep the attention of what is indeed a very child-like population.
