May I stand aright. God grant me the unworthy to stand in fear. Putin publicly calls Tsar-Martyr Nikolai, "Nikolay Krovaviy" which means, "Nicholas the Bloody," which is what the revolutionaries called our beloved Tsar-Martyr. Thereby Putin identifies himself, his heart and outlook, his ambitions and goals, his relationship with True Orthodoxy; namely, that he is the mortal enemy of our One True Holy and Apostolic Church. The lines are thus drawn in the sand, let us speak from one side, and not in support of those on the other. I am sure that one could have found many humanly good qualities in many infamous Communists who attacked and sought to destroy the Church. However, we do not see our Russian New Martyrs hightlighting these "other good points" on balance. No. They spoke clearly, and without equivocation, that such men, whatever good one might be able to find in them, remained still the mortal enemies of the Church and we ought to grant them no quarter, no support, no positive reports, lest the faithful fall into an unwary condition and be trapped or led into some sort of sergianist presupposition, which we confess would be a mortal error that separates the believer from the True Church and Her salvation. Our satanic enemies lead the wary True Orthodox Beleivers away not by obvious errors, but by subtle ones, ones that even for some True Orthodox believers of experience have the semblance of good and advantage, but in fact lead to the paths of death.
Enough of this crazy underground "truther" and so-called "patriot movement" media's love of Putin. And you who call yourselves "Orthodox," and even, "True Orthodox": Silence! Cease to praise this man and speak in support of him. As he himself now says plainly, Putin is no friend of True Orthodoxy. Period.
