Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me a sinner.
(1) What would be the respectful and polite way to address female Protestant "priests" and "bishops" in Christian love and in truth?
In a prior post, a poster discovered that using the title "Priestess" would offend female Protestant ministers as that term has been used in pagan religions. If that female has a doctorate, I would use Dr. [surname]. Thus, I would be able to avoid using "Father", "Mother" or "Bishop."
(2) What would be the respectful way of addressing a male Lutheran "priest" or "bishop" in Christian love and in truth?
