I don't think it was "agreeing" with a raving person's use of the hymn, but pointing out the ummmm use of it at all by someone purporting to be so forcussed on and proclaiming his EOness.
Thank you for the support, SouthernOrthodox. I really was wondering how wanting truth and courtesy and Charity in the face of lies and rumours and attacks were "erroneous teachings" from a "protestant".
I am not in ROCOR, but I know people who are (RL, I've met them in person, I've been to their church) and for their Church and Bishops to be savaged and maligned is revolting.

I perform what is known in Orthodox Christian "piety" an "all-night vigil." That is I pray from 2 AM until 7 AM every night without fail. At 3 AM I go out into the woods here in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado and pray especially for friends and acquaintances and for the world. You Pat are now at the top of my list.
Do not worry about a thing which people are now hurling at you. You have a destiny yet to be fulfilled. You will live a very long life and God has so much for you and so much for you to do.
I spoke with " " of Temple Beth Shalom and she reported to me that the response to your talk before their Jewish Congregation was extremely favorable!
This is good news. Why? Because God has not forgotten His people Whom He foreknew. And "because God loves His people Israel,"
He has raised you up dear Pat, to reach thousands of His People

Your very much welcome Ebor. You seem like a good Christian. This forum could use more Christian Ideas like yours. It is very sad what is going on, not only in this forum but in EO as a whole. The notion that I am right and you are wrong, has been taken to the extreme with some. Attacking anyone is not found anywhere in the teachings or Cannons of the Church. Some get it , some don't. It becomes obvious who does not. as evident by the Good Brothers last post. Not sure what the good folks in ROAC would have to say with some kind of alliance with the likes of a Pat Robertson.
Any one from ROAC care to comment. Your spokesperson here is going down an interesting path. Just wondering what Metropolitan Valentine would think? Just an observation. The ROAC and the 700Club unite, now that would be Church News. Good Brother, you are making the MP look better and better to us Russians. Oh one question, I know I am getting long winded. Most Russian Orthodox Monks always identify them self's as "Russian Orthodox Monks" you never seem to: Orthodox Christian +monk. Just an observation??????
