Ah yes, the aurora borealis... I grew up in north central MN and loved watching them. Thanks for making me nostalgic.

No Auroras last night, so we hoped that they would show up tonight. And yes they did! We were lucky to be on Kvaløya in the Aurora capitol, Tromsø. Nikon D600 and Nikon D7000 with Nikon 14-24, 2.8, and Tokina 11-16, 2.8 lenses, 4 sec, 2.8 and iso 1600.
