Was Servus of Antioch one of your main "Oriental Orthodox" Fathers wrong in calling us heretics?

Yes, he was. There were definitely mistakes made on both sides, which is why a lifting of anathemas should be mutual. I belong to an Oriental Orthodox congregation, yet most of the books in our bookstore are the works of Eastern Orthodox theologians. We care more about realizing our common Orthodoxy and re-establishing communion than holding fast to blind sectarianism.

Peace.

Read the Christological works of Severus of Antioch, and you will discover that the non-Chalcedonian Christology isn't as simple as the "Miaphysite" argument. It is HERESY.

Then let St. Cyril of Alexandria and every attendant of the Council of Ephesus be called heretics.

Peace.

Perhaps this developed debate can be taken to another thread. Is there still any interest in why people converted to Orthodoxy?

Yes, let's stick to the OP and not on how the Indian Orthodox Church, which was established by St. Thomas in 52 A.D. is somehow not Orthodox.
I'll start a new thread in Miscellaneous on the Chalcedonian issue.

Peace.

Bit of a red herring, Pensees; the Roman Catholic church is heretical, and it used to hold the primacy of honour in Orthodoxy
