I am in absolute awe! Not only because Christ has led you to His Apostolic Church, but also because of how we have found each other! What a small world! I must be really stupid or something, there were so many hints that it was you. I remember that every time I saw your name on this list and the ROCOR list I kept wondering where I had heard that name before. Then I saw you write something about the fact that you had a hardcore, underground backround. I finally saw your picture here and said, ''Wow that really looks like Josh, the Hare Krishna kid I knew from Purchase College. The resemblence is striking!'' Yet I still didn't realize it was you! how dumb is that!
You contacting me has really made my day. I got your message 10 minutes before I went work so I couldn't write back but I couldn't stop thinking about how amazing this situation is all day.
You remember my wife, she was my girlfriend from college, the little Japanese girl named Rio? She was baptized here in Japan over a year ago with the name Maria (after Mary of Egypt). If you look again at the pictures of the wedding service, you will see Matt (in college my giant skinhead roomate), he is behind me as my best man. He is my Godson, baptized maybe 4 years ago now. What about Alana? You will find some pictures her in those photos too, however I am sorry to say that she is not Orhtodox.
I remember you and our conversations very well and thought about you from time to time. You defiantly struck me as an honest truth seeker in college and and am overjoyed that God has brought you to the truth. Anyway, I am going to write you privatly right now.
