Chocolate ---
"... IS NOT A FOOD. IT IS A TOXIN.
Your first clue is this – anything that is THAT addictive just has to be bad for you. What’s the difference between a craving and a healthy urge from your body to eat something good for you? If it’s a craving, which you get from something that is weakening for your body, the more you eat, the more you want.
In the “old” days when I was growing up in the 60s in Australia, chocolate was something that we had a few SQUARES of, on special days only. It wasn’t until I went to university that I had a whole bar for myself. Over the years I have seen stores put more and more chocolate in the stores, closer and closer to the counter.
Chocoalte [sic] contains:
1) Sugar
2) Caffeine. This is an aging drug. It puts your body into stress. It makes people tired so that they then crave more of the drug which made them tired in the first place, just because it gives them an initial kick which exhausts their adrenal glands."

Regarding the Adrenals and chocolate, here is the hidden connection. There is Magnesium in chocolate, along with tons of terrible elements. That's WHY women especially tend to crave chocolate : for the magnesium.
However, if anyone is experiencing a wish for chocolate, the best bet is to refuse the chocolate and take some Magnesium supplement or eat food high in this element. That would be : Kelp, Almonds, Cashews and Brown Rice.
If anyone has noted feeling soothed after a brown rice dinner, this is likely why. Brown Rice, by the way, is vastly easier to digest than a potato, despite popular pro-potato lore.
Magnesium is the calming element, much needed for 300 different functions. It is the most critical element for the Adrenal glands, so much so that it has been likened to a spark plug for the adrenals.
