Well, I'm going to disassociate myself from this conversation. The author of the post I gave is not here to defend his own arguments so I don't think it's really fair for me to post them here. I have sufficient reason to avoid Dormition Skete so I'm just going to move on. Please forgive me if I have ever sinned against anyone here in word, deed or thought. Thank you.

However I don't think you adequetly addressed the part of this canon dealing with the prohibition of layman leaving their bishops.

I don't care. I really just don't care anymore.

I've had enough. First, weeks of arguing with you, pointing to the canons online and over the phone; then you post John Watts' attacks on me and others here.

I'm done.

The canons are clear, and I don't really care if the only thing holding you up is "oh, well laymen can't leave their bishop".

As I stated when I was in ROAC last time-- I was never UNDER Gregory of COLORADO, since his jurisdiction was COLORADO.

I am finished, and will respond no further.

Due to recent discoveries, I take back my negative statements about Vladika Gregory of Colorado, and I reject the negative statements people have made about him on this website. And I do not endorse Joseph Suaiden and his positions.

The question is firstly whether archbishop Gregory is Orthodox.

His attacks on St Augustine and on the Iconic representation of God the Father as the Antcient of Days give rise to serious doubts on this question.

Canonical questions come second.
