That's exactly right, Icxypion.
My concern is that if he takes antibiotics and powerful medicaments, his entire system will be weakened
during the fight to keep all the chemicals from destroying OTHER things !

So this surely would be the best way to minimize harm from drugs as well as rebuild system
for the LONGterm. So he can have MANY MANY healthy years ahead of fighting for the True Orthodox cause !

I looked Helichrysum up and saw that it actually comes from Herzegovina and one other former province of Yugoslavia.
The French Helichrysum is NOT such good quality as it used to be. In fact it may even be dubious.

Hopefully someone can go to a natural pharmacy right there in Despotovac and buy some locally harvested
Helichrysum !

He MUST take any oils in a teaspoonful of a strong oil like Sunflower or Olive. That is necessary to make sure
it gets all the way to intestines for digestion and absorption, a rapid process, thank God.

UPDATE ON FR. MAXIM

Fr. Maxim’s Recovery Stretches On
Two months have passed since the attack on the Paraclete and the brutal beating of Hieromonk Maxim. Fr. Maxim’s broken leg has been in a cast since then. At the regular checkup today there was a possibility that the cast would be removed, but the doctor responsible determined that the break of the left shin had not yet healed and that Fr. Maxim would have to lengthen his wearing of the cast for three more weeks. So the answer to our big question, whether Fr. Maxim will be able to serve Liturgy for Pascha, was the opposite of what many had hoped. In the doctor’s words it is a matter of a very complicated spiral break of the shin which heals very slowly and with difficulty, for which a great deal of patience and rest is necessary, along with avoiding putting full weight on the injured leg, even after the removal of the cast. We ask all the friends of the Paraclete to continue praying fervently for the recovery of Hieromonk Maxim, who, let us not forget, stood up bravely in defense of the faith, not fearing many open threats by the fanatics of the ecumenist Serbian Patriarchate, with Bishop Jovan of Shumadia and his priests in the lead.

I asked for an update, and wow, did we ever get a very complete one !
It's so interesting seeing into the medical procedures over there.
But VERY SAD about the spiral fracture, that brought tears to my eyes to read.
Clearly the devil or demons were occupying the body/ bodies of the assailants, and seemed to have done the actual beating.
Otherwise this dangerous type of broken leg could not have come about.

The Hieromonk is young ; he would normally heal quickly. This was a MEAN TRICK of the Devil to set him back.

Hopefully he is gaining more spiritual merit for the extra frustration, suffering, and pain !

I hope he DOES NOT try to serve until way after Pentecost, for standing on the leg too long before it is COMPLETELY healed
might set him back even farther, thus causing extra problem.
Maybe July, perhaps by the Feast of St Sergiy and German of Valaam !?
I know those are not favorite Serbian Saints, but they DO protect against attacks by MP or similar type thugs. There is even evidence to this effect.

Hope Hieromonk Maxim can relax during this enforced time of inactivity, gather his energies together after that terrible assault. He might want to
try to be working too early. But he should take COMPLETE rest.
[And use the local Helichrysum oil, too ! It heals superbly and permanently.]
Perhaps, too, he can seek profit from loss by reading wonderful Lives of Saints ! Many did suffer this same thing unfortunately.
Not just the famous example of St Seraphim of Sarov, but many lesser known ascetics, as well.
