Has anyone noted the aftermath yet ? I didn't see the videos, so I am not sure what they portray.
This is scary ! :
"The reliquary with the image of St. Euphrosynia of Suzdal was placed close to the northern wall of the temple in the foregoing convent and the reliquary with the image of St. Euphymios of Suzdal is standing now on the chairs in the middle of the temple. "There are no relics there, these are only the reliquaries. The relics have been stolen by the schismatics who are supported by America", said a nun in the [ Deposition of the Veil Moscow Patriarchate ] convent to the correspondent of Portal-Credo.Ru.
ROAC parishioners in Suzdal increasingly assume that some persons involved in the holy relics "black market" which has been more than once mentioned in the Russian mass media may have taken part in the confiscation procedure."

This is good reporting, by the way. If not for the reporter on the scene, we here in America would be provided with few details of the heinous operation.

Thanks for sharing this chilling news: The invasion of the body snatchers.
Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me a sinner.

The reliquary had been sealed long ago, how could someone take the relics un-noticed? The seals should bear a mark of this.

The seals were not broken. Instead a huge hole was drilled into the reliquary by the relic snatchers destroying these works of art.
This is a sacrilege. If the purpose had been to venerate these relics, nothing like this would have been done. And if the MP truly wanted to exhume and venerate these relics, there are protocols that should have been followed, including a procession from the Church from which they were taken and into the final Church where they will rest.
Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me a sinner.

Excellent point ! Was it drilling a hole or cut with a circular saw ? I seem to remember the latter from the Portal-Credo article.
Despite their inclusion of Name-Worshippers in the news they offer, Portal-Credo deserves a plaque for this coverage !
No one else amongst pro-True Orthodox reporting agencies, of which there really aren't more than a tiny handful, will dare tackle it. Or is familiar enough with the situation to present the facts as best known at any given juncture.
REALLY SCARY that this sacrilege would have been perpetrated, I agree !
