Dear Vicki,
Yes, with one difference; we allow our monks to bathe.
Yes, we have basketball tournaments. My brother was encouraged to join the church team and compete by a pillar of our parish.
Litanies...anymore than two is an abomination.
Dear Bogo,
We keep our shoes on during basketball games, unless it is the championship game--that game is always played in the church of the home team, and so we have to take our shoes off. This is another reason why pews in churches are bad. But look at who I'm talking to. You don't even play basketball in church!!
It does not hurt to play discalced basketball in church. We have nice rugs.
We avoid playing basketball with Greeks entirely. White men can't jump.
Dear Mor Ephrem,
Are you in communion with Anglicans, as the 'Mar Thoma Christians' are Monophysite Anglicans and you must know that Mar Thoma Anglicans go to Monophysite Churches. Are you allowed to commune at Anglican Churches which have priestesses and openly homosexual bishops?
Thank you for your time,
The lowest of the low.
Hey Orthodox Learner,
I think I found a pic of Metropolitan Phil concelebrating with Pope Shenouda and the Indian Catholicos!!!!!!!!!!!

Please note that I do not subscribe to "Old Calendar Ecumenism" and believe that only the Synod of Archbishop Kallinikos is the canonical GOC of Greece. I do believe, however, that we can break down barriers and misunderstandings through prayer and discussion on forums such as this one.
