1 ROAC has win in the court! Thu Jan 24, 2013 3:13 am (PST) . Posted by: "nun Xenia" mitrenina As some of you know, Moscow Patriarchate was trying to seize the relics of St. Euthymius and St. Euphrosinya of Suzdal, that were kept in the Iveron church of ROAC in Suzdal. MP has won a number of courts and the matter was almost settled, MP have almost seized the Holy Relics and they were going even to imprison Archbishop Theodore.
But today ROAC has win the case in the Federal Court. The relics will stay in ROAC and ROAC will get beck all the money it has paid as penalties, charges etc. Archbishop Theodore will not be imprisoned. The victory was archived with the active participation of Alexander Soldatov, the etitor-in-chief of "Portal-Credo.Ru" and "Vertograd".

Breaking news. Bailiffs Breaking took today the relics of Saint Euphemia and Saint Euphrosyne of Suzdal that were in a ROAC church. The information in this thread is not up to date, so I need to precise that after a first juridical victory ROAC lost in appeal and was ordered to give the relics back to the state.

Priidite, poklonimsja i pripadem ko Hristu.
Lord have mercy. Does the ROAC have home chapels to avoid persecution?
Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me a sinner.
We do but unfortunately it's not that simple. The laws of freedom of assembly are not the same in Russia as they are is the USA and other normal democratic nations. Just because you're on private property there doesn't mean you can hold religious services. This is why many of our parishes are and will remain secret.

That is also the same with the GOC in Russia. Many have to worship in the mountains, in caves, in homes, quietly at midnight, etc. They cannot list these parishes, so they remain secret, and the numbers of parishioners and parishes purposely remains underreported.

Above is a link showing the ROAC faithful during Pascha 2014 with Bishop Theodore.
This is the cathedral in Suzda from which the tombs and relics within were stolen by the police and now reside in the MP Cathedral.
These tombs were hand made by the parishioners and never did belong to the MP.
