Truth is expressed in the Orthodox icons. Tradition is cultural, not faith. That which is depicted in the Orthodox icons is the belief of this faith. Orthodox icons are not written as a fairy tale but as the expression of what is believed.

You don't believe in Orthodoxy, but that isn't a ligitamate arguement to disprove the Orthodox teachings.

Notice how many times you use "belief" and "faith"? The reality is that it is all based upon faith. And "faith" has nothing to due with "fact" it is all belief.

This is why the Creed uses "I believe" instead of I KNOW FOR A FACT

Tom - St. Thomas had proof of the bodily resurrection yet our Lord still exhorts him to be believing. Our Lord doesn't say, 'now that you have proof know that I am resurrected', instead He said, 'be not faithless, but believing'.

No, Father, I do not. Even you must admit that the idea that Christ was crucified in the same exact location as Adam is Holy Tradition. It is a belief.

And it is OKAY to say that "Holy Tradition states" and we should belive it as truth. But the word "Fact" has a whole different connotation.
