Traditional Orthodox Churches? Title should not be plural

ultra_sinful - Then you were taught wrong , as in Orthodox there are some Orthodox that seem to be to modern and trading in tradition for other things..The Roman Catholic church is the same, I was brought up by Traditional catholic Priests who recognise the seat of St.Peter ,but know that some of the Popes have been wrong, they recognise and pray the current Pope wll return to the TRUE church....Same Politics and accusations of Schism and heresy are lashed at non-Roman catholics...
The Roman Catholic faith yes has fallen into a sad state un-judged by me and left for God to decide, but if you were to honestly read the reason behind the Papal decree to introduce the Faith with something that to others might seem strange and even wrong, is basically a case of Ethnic and language stumbling blocks...not too many Orthodox use the original Creed, most and some use modern variation or like the Old Beliver Russian Orthodox have changed a couple of words, but in FACT with Christ in our MIDST the fact remains the same WE BELIeVE IN GOD THE FATHER ALMIGHTY ,CREATOR OF HEAVEN AND EARTH, AND of ALL THINGS VISIBLE and INVISIBLE.........

A friend of mine believes that ROCOR fell from Grace in 1994 when they went into Union with the Cpyrianites. Is this held by many people in the True Church? If so where does this leave ROCOR-Vitaly? Even though I think they are basically correct about a lot of things the previous track record of Met Vitaly was not that of a zealot or a great confessor of Orthodoxy. By the way no one in my GOC parish thinks this way. We consider ROCOR-V Orthodox.

I am very aware that some "orthodox", like the roman catholics, are trading traditions and Truth for worldly considerations. Moscow Patriarch, M. Laurus and company, are in the same boat, ... having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof (2 Tim. 3, 1-5). Only the appearance has been preserved, while the inner content, the power of confession of Christian faith turned out to be trampled upon, substituted, destroyed!

You should not wait for roman catholic church's repentance, it will not repent because it does not believe, it is a souless enterprise emptied of the Spirit of Christ, like a bank or a government. A bank does not repent because it is there for power and money, not to save souls.

Greetings On The Feast Of The Lord's Theophany!!!

Let's preserve the peace of the Feast.

Two points...

1). The friction here has resulted by not emphasizing what everyone seems to believe of "ecumenism" in the Oikumene: being a faithful SCOBAn, I want to say that modern ecumenism is a heretical movement, has NOT served Orthodox witness but rather COMPROMISED it, and NEEDS to be scrapped and ALL ORTHODOX should abandon it. It is the heresy of heresies. As a corollary to this, I can understand when the word "schism" is used by those who consider such villainous courses as the ep's uniatism and "ecumenism of love" as Orthodox that resisters balk and feel they aren't talking to Orthodox people. ONCE AND FOR ALL, RESISTANCE IS PATRISTIC AND THE HIGHEST EXPRESSION OF SOBORNOST' especially in our modern era. Using the accusations of "schism" IS JUST AS ULTRAMONTANE and uncharitable.

2). To Dr. Moss and others propagating the "one synodeia, one general anathema" rant, provide the Patristic basis for this type of ULTRAMONTANE ecclesiology. Too many believers are caught up in calling other Orthodox "heretics," etc. due to your flawed ecclesiology which I posit is just as heretical as sergianism and, indeed, is probably schism. Those on the right should cease recriminations and seek common ground to forge Orthodox unity. Let's clean up the baiting and trolling attacking those who are Orthodox but not in Resistance (or in the "right" resistance). Fr. Seraphim of Platina said it once eloquently, "...sure sounds Orthodox but is it Christian?!"

It would be a miracle if MP repents, and I truly hope he will for the revival of Russia. Then they would have to get rid of those kgb-agent-clerics out of their chruch.

I am a sinner in the Church, Holy & sinless, comprised of sinners. Ones sins do not delegitimize the Church or the Mysteries but make it ever so necessary, nor can my sins or those of others, including clerics, remove grace from the Church. Arguing so, means that sin and not Christ has triumphed. Such blasphemies are UNWORTHY of Orthodoxy and a CLEAR SIGN of heresy. donatism coupled with ultramontane pronouncements and phariseeism is reminiscent of that structure Christ Himself railed against. Whitened sepulchres ARE NOT the Church.

The Soviet "Church"'s repentence would mean it's disbandment and its petition to join the Orthodox Church. Just as I had to do. The fact that ROCOR-L would even consider union with the "MP" makes me believe that they are probably in the grips totally of the evil one. Can you imagine the ROCOR of old engaging in the evil deeds of some one like Father John Mc Cuen who refers to the Red Armys rape across eastern and central Europe as the "Great Patriotic War" and pushes the "Father Arseny" lie? Ultra-Sinfull, I am more sinfull than you. I wish and will pray for your zeal.
