you know of course there's no pope in montreal. why you ask this?

but we are truly blessed to have Vladika Serghei who's in charged of us under Metropolitan Vitaly. He's has a lot of love and there are believers who come from far away to assist to the service, even if they have some "orthodox" (pseudo) church in their neighborhood. One woman even come from toronto to assist to the sunday liturgy.

Clarification

Post by Kollyvas »

While I don't have anything against the ROCiE, I asked the question to ascertain on what basis people are being condemned as "heretics," "satanists," "pseudo-Orthodox," etc. The language seems inappropriate. When I use papal inferences, I am alluding to papal fiats of not so long ago where one person made these types of unilaterally ever so personal pronouncements...

So because I choose to stay at St. Nicholas, does that make me an heretic??

Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. (Ps. 50)

Dear Joasia:

Yep, that's what they keep saying.....

A lotta chuzpah...I would say....Personally I ignore them. It's not worth the cost to my soul. Pray for them for they would rend our church to pieces to prove themselves right.

Considerations...

No official statements by ROCiE clergy have been made here. Everyone seems to have an opinion, and that's ok. The fellow who has used the language in question seems to mean well even with the imprecision in language.
