Nathaniel/Milton,

Your quotes from St. Kyrill do not contradict my point that some of the new martyrs believed there to be grace in the "sergianist" sacraments. Indeed, there are new martyrs on both sides of the fence. Today, of course, there exists no chance of "close and active collaboration with the soviet regime" because it doesn't exist. There is no active persecution of the Church or believers. I have read both Fr. Polsky's and Andreev's books. Maybe if you had read them more carefully you would have noticed that the Epistle you claim came from the pen of Nikita Krushchev(maybe you mean someone working for him) was in fact included in chapter 37 of Prof. Andreev's work. Prof. Andreev considered it authoritative, it seems.

Nathaniel/Milton- take a quick look at yourself. You were never part of ROCOR and never had any forming in ROCOR Church life, so never learned the mind of ROCOR. You were formed at HTM and Gregory's Asylum, but now you sit in condemnation of that which you have no understanding.

My apologies on the Catacomb Epistle accusation. Just as soon
as I hit "submit" I realized that I was wrong & would have to eat
crow on that one. Forgive me my brother.

Apart from that, we simply will have to "agree to disagree."
Pray for me a hasty replier.

It's sad when one tries to preach history within the context of doctrine. PJ you are 100% correct, some will never get it. Those most apposed never had any thing remotely close to forming in ROCOR. He did make an interesting statement, "I will stop the vote in May 2006". The problem is he couldn't find a ROCOR Parrish that would have him. Had he, he may have had a voice. Thus maybe the bitterness?

The will of the Father will move forward and lesser and lesser we will hear the shouting THE KGB, THE KGB, DEATH TO STALIN.

Good for you Nathaniel, the best Christian Orthodox thing I have seen from you. Bravo to you. Geez never thought I would ever say that.

Dear Southern Orthodoxy and Ekatarina and pjhatala,

My dear brothers and sister and Christ our Lord,

I was at HTM/HOCNA since 1991 and then joined the
monastic communtiy in 1996.

I attended Fr Roman Lukianov's Church on Sunday's beginning
in 1998 and stayed in the back ground as it was a very full church
and I would go to the feast day saturday night vigils. Again
in the background. Fr Lukianov knows me well.

I know a lot of ROCOR people both presently with the ROCOR
and former ROCOR bishops and priests.

I am 55 years old and as a Jew I grew up on Torah (the 5 words
of St Paul) and the prophets. In 1971 I joined the Jews for Jesus
and scripure memory (whole chapters new and old) was the order
of the day. I now have Romans, I & II Peter, I John, & many
chapters in the Gospels memorized. My father had the gift
of a "photographic" mind.

Why am I saying all of this? I am very close with 3 significant
men. Subdeacon/Dr Alajaji. Vladimir Moss. Dr Eugene L
Magerovsky. I work very closely with these three men
in preventing a PRO MP union by the ROCOR bishops.

Bottom Line: God has chosen me for the high calling of protecting
the +ROCOR from destruction. Christ has chosen me. I will destroy
any hope for a PRO MP vote in the not so merry merry month of
May 2006.

Dear Nathaniel,

Let God do his own job, he doesn't need the help.

!?!?! Ummm I thought that Torah was the "five books of Moses".

How much power are you under the delusion that you have?!? You are a layman and not in ROCOR. Who are you to say such things!?!? You will "destroy any hope"?! How? By spreading gossip and innuendo and imaginary dialogues? How does that further the Kingdom of God, I wonder.

Dear Ebor,

"I would rather speak 5 words.." said St Paul, the 5 books of
Moses.

Layman, shmayman. St Maximos was a layman, a monk.
Doesn't matter. The body of Christ is not all the "head and
scalp." Fingers do the pointing.

Alright - I was a bit full of myelf. We will all work together
to destroy any hope of a PRO MP vote this coming May.
My apologies.
