The Holy Fathers (and the Holy Canons) teach that we should not remain in communion with the heretics or schismatic. Then only thing that JP and SP shoud do is to break up in communion with False Orthodoxy and to enter in communion with the Authenticate Orthodoxy. As it is that they never supported the Old Calendarist or true Churches Russian and yes they supported the modernists, sergianist etc, those of EP, MP, OCA etc and they never broke the communion to them.

Another Holy Father, Saint Justin of Celije, told that the new calendar was incorrect but did not deserve a schism... Morevoer in the 1930s, there were concelebration between ROCOR and the new calendarist church of Romania in Romania using the new calendar...

The Serbian church never supportes the True Russian church!!! And tell me where the ROCOR located from 1920 to 1941? Wasn't it in Karlov (Serbia)?

A question : you say the true Russian churches using a plural... But there can be only a True Russian church or a True greek church... Could you tell me which since old calendarists have 13 Synods?

Christ is Risen!

According to many Traditionalist "True" Orthodox Churches, they aknowledged Saint Justin Popovitch of Celia to be a true Orthodox Saint and a confessor of Orthodoxy against Ecumenism. Now, according to many Traditionalist Orthodox Churches, that means, he who has rejected New Calendarists and any Church to do with World Orthodoxy, along with aknowledging the gracelessness. Now how could've Saint Justin been a "True" Orthodox if he was going to Greece and was concelebrating with New Calendarists? Even after the walling-off of his monastery due to the Patriarch's Ecumenism, and the "repentace" of the Patriarch resolving to Saint Justin's return to the Patriarchate, he still concelebrated with Russians of the Moscow Patriarchate along with Rocor Priests, and with Ecumenical Patriarchate priests.
The same can be witnessed of Saint Justin's spiritual son, who all of the Saint's spiritual children are bishops and are alive today, former Bosnia and Hercegovina Elder Athanasius, he is known for the beatings he got for Orthodoxy in his former diocese; Bishop Athanasius was concelebrant with ROCOR and had a close spiritual relationship with the Archbishops Metropolitan Saint Philaret and Bishop Seraphim of Chicago. Metropolitan Philaret concelebrated too with Ecumenical Patriarchate priests, but hey, why not economy?

Christ is Risen!

Let us leave the Saints to be sanctified, and the heretics be punished by God.

CHRIST IS RISEN!

Would this more-orthodox-than-thou attitude so common on this site be indicative of the illness of prelest? I don't know much about it, but the lack of humility in such an attitude definitely seems very strange. Are there ways to defend the truth humbly? I would like to remain faithful to the true faith, but such attitudes make me feel disturbed and uncertain of where to turn.

Just remember that the Orthodox faith is truth. Would you want to leave that? Don't mix that with the waters of personal attitudes expressed here. And we are not talking face to face. It's easier to understand a person when we talk to them. Sometimes we can misunderstand what a person wrote because the person wrote it in a certain frame of mind and maybe it didn't reflect what they were trying to say. Or maybe we interpret it the wrong way. And we should never presume that certain people lack faith. Instead, we should correct ourselves first, by reminding ourselves that we don't know the shoes that people walk in. And we should pray. Pray for God's guidance. God is working in everybody's life, on His own schedule.

Everybody expresses their opinions here, just as you have, but we cannot assume what degree of faithfulness they possess. That is only the right of God. The only thing we can do is respond with respect.

Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. (Ps. 50)

Could you detail those beatings Bishop Athanasius got for aorthodoxy in his former diocese. Under which circumstances? Why?

If I recall reading this correctly from an Orthodox Magazine a while ago in Greek, it was while the years in Bosnia where Muslims and Catholics were still presuring the Orthodox to convert or leave. I remember him and the Patriarch Paul (then Bishop of Kosovo) wouldn't abandon their flocks no matter what. Something that Bishop Artemije is struggling today now. He has around his a holder ( I really dont know how you call it in English. It helps him have his neck straight because of the injuries.) He is very known in Greece for actually asking help from the brother Orthodox. He used to be very skinny but his health was that fatal, the doctors pressured him to prevent to strict fasting he was doing, and he has become quite chubby. His spiritual brothers (since he was spiritual son of Saint Justin Popovich of Serbia) are still active bishops by God's Help. It has been a couple of weeks now that the Patriarch along with the Present Bishop of Bosnia with the Former Bishop glorified the new martyrs of Bosnia.
