I was shocked to read this. I don't always agree with OOD's polemical style but I have to admit, how does one remain in communion with these people?

It is indeed shocking to read this statement - EP at large again! I will certainly ask my bishop about this, since I receive monophysites by triple immersion.

To make my point clearer, I have personally only seen one incident of ecumenism in action - it was also EP in UK.

I also watched that ridiculous video with Orthodox Hierarchs singing African chants - something along the lines of 'bunkum..bunkum' at the jaboree in Canberra, OZ. Of course I know what is going on, via the press and forums, but on a personal encounter I must be shielded by the grace of God. I'll probably be baptizing and serving the Divine Liturgy when everyone else is in jail. I once got forgotten by the British Army - but that's a long story.

All this is very sad...

Can we, at least admit, that this is all very confusing? Where are the saints to guide us??

So many divisions, so much confusions.

It's heartbreaking.
