Must the word "apostacy" be thrown about so loosely?

What's the matter with "wrong"-- accurate, terse, and Anglo-Saxon?

Nektarios,

There is no difference between the "Mysteries" of the "bishops" belonging to the Jerusalem Synod and that of Bartholomew, a Monophysite "bishop", or a "bishop" in Moscow. They are one and the same. This reality becomes much clearer when a bishop of the JP visits your hometown and commemorates Bartholomew and communes with his bunch.

In addition, since these people accept the Latin "baptism" and confess it to be real, there is no difference if you were "baptized" at the hands of these men or the pope himself. This is also true for Antioch, Alexaxdria, and Constantinoples official recognition of and practice of accepting a monophysite baptism and marriage - not to mention inter-communion.

So what else is there to think of Serbia or Jerusalem? Indeed, exactly what difference could there possibly be?

Is there a difference between a dead body which has withered away to its bones and a corpse dressed up to show in a casket?

You don't have to admit there is communion with the pope or a monophysite, it is enough that you admit there is communion with Bartholomew or anyone of the many like him.

So I take it you believe that your "Orthodox" Church is the only True Orthodox left in the world? Sounds like HOCNA.

How I see it, if Mt. Athos doenst reognize your Synod then neither do I. Last I checked all of the monasteries were under the Ecumenical Patriarchate or some other Orthodox Patriarchate.

In Christ
Nektarios.

P.S. I do like the ecclesiagoc.org webs site the intro is very nice.

Espigmenou doesnot commemorate Bart. The do, however recognize the GOC as they do commemorate Archbp. Chrysostomos of Athens. The are being persicuted for this as well. There are also zealot fathers in the Holy Mount that do commemorate Bart. And if I'm not mistaken the fathers at St. Elias Skete were thrown off because they would not commemorate the EP.
