If it makes you sad then why did you post that immature rubbish (that I've now edited out)?

You should have asked the man to explain himself in a more private way, not in the middle of the disussion like that. Now you have got other people asking silly questions and why? It makes us sad.

He publicly declared himself to be a ROCOR Deacon Tikhon of Texas. Everyone should know if this is true or not, so the question should be asked publicly as I see it. Impersonating clergy is a serious offense and I, for one, will not be responsible for anyone being misled at this forum. I think we can all agree that this is a place where only truth should be spoken, hence the motto, "Have a Drink of the TRUTH!".

Same Tikhon, error in changing e-mail locked me out.

Now, to respond to your inquiries.

I am here as a PRIVATE person, and an Orthodox Christian who loves Theology, and debate, etc.
I am NOT here as a member of clergy, and I shouldn't have even mentioned it.
My REAL name is not Tikhon, or Tikon. I wish to remain anonymous, which I have requested of two persons on this board.

I was posting on a forum under my real name, and made the mistake of angering an Antiochian parishoner, who went to MY Bishop, and it created a problem for me. Yes, I know George and Ann Lardas. I don't think I have said anything here that deserves an inquisition, and I resent being treated like I am dishonest.

I have told you everything I am going to. If everyone here cannot accept me on those terms, then I will wish you well, and leave this board. Please let me know.

God Bless You all!

I have sent you private correspondence on the matter. I had already sent such to the moderator.

This seems very strange that one would claim to be a Deacon, but want to conceal who he really is. You say that you sent a "private correspondence", why not make it public. Something to hide? Something to be ahsamed of? I can not help but wonder how involed you may really be with the Masons.

Father:

I assume you are a Priest?
I am here as a private person, not in my capacity as a Deacon of the Church. I made a mistake even mentioning that fact. I will state categorically, that I never have been, nor ever will be a Mason. The Church forbids it, I follow the Canons, and directives of Holy Mother Church. I do not post under my real name, because I wish to post as a private person, not as clergy.

I hope this will satisfy.

God Bless!

Tikon,

I for one will encourage you to stay. I respect your desire for
remaining anonymous, and frankly can't say I don't blame you.
As it is said: "hindisght is always better than foresight". Having
said that, perhaps this all can be put to rest, and hopefully the
administrator and moderators can assist in this process and
we can get back to the real purpose of these forums - "Drinks
of Truth".

I look forward to your input in the future.....

With humble bow,

Rd. Chrysostomos
