Yes Nathaniel,

Bear one another's burdens. And yet, you come here to complain about the burdens you were given. Apply it to yourself first and don't go pointing fingers at us, just because we don't like your posts. This stems from pride and perhaps you should start looking inwardly to your own sinful state.

And the fact that the popular opinion about your posts is the same...probably means that we read it the same way. Why don't you take a hint from that. Your posts are the source of negative reactions.

The passage, BTW is part of the signature that appears with every post. It wasn't aimed at you specifically.

Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. (Ps. 50)

POLICE RPT: Sbn Nathnaiel's Arrest

Post by Nathaniel Kapner »

My dear fellow Orthodox Christians - My dear brothers and sisters in Christ Our Common-Savior and our Mutual Hope,

Since our Savior said, "Blessed are the peacemkers," I for one wish to be "blessed" for this very reason.

So, "peace be unto all of you, my dear brothers and sisters."

If you are scandalized by my posts, I completely respect your sensibilities, though I certainly do not agree that there is any thing whatsoever offensive about the contents of these posts, other than the unchristian behavior of the "sketeniks."

My suggestion is that all those who are 'offended' to register your complaints with Fr. Nikolai Stanoscheck, and I will certainly abide by his counsel. I will not post again until I hear his determination on this issue.

Your brother In Christ our Common Savior,

Sbn Nathaniel Kapner

I'm dissapointed that you, as an alleged monk, as Saint Isaac the Syrian says, a monk is not known in public, and neither should he make appereances. I don't think you need TomS or Joasia for reality checks. Exercise analysis of every action you do. Father Nicholas should've known better than invite you to post such past issues.

A true monk would get humbled for even getting opposed without reason. If one can resist that with faith and be humble without public post against his enemies, and pray for them he has gained Paradise. If Nathaniel needs proof, he should read the fathers.

See, you portray what is called "Revenge" in unchristian way of living. And you desire the defrocking of a priest, your own persecutor? He is the one that would bring you to paradise by torturing, by testing your faith? Where has the Gerondikons, Elders and Church Fathers, done such actions against their persecute?

I do know him and I know Gregory of Denver and Colorado. The later I have every reason not to trust and Subdeacon Nathaniel I have no reason to mistrust. If someone asks for help or is in a bad situation I go to their aid and do not deride them for sharing a bad experience or start questioning their trustworthiness unless they give me reason to.

And in the gospel it says that if your brother causes you scandal to first talk to him privately rather than to lambast him continuously on the Internet.
