9So the anger of the LORD was aroused against them, and He departed. 10And when the cloud departed from above the tabernacle, suddenly Miriam became leprous, as white as snow. Then Aaron turned toward Miriam, and there she was, a leper.
11So Aaron said to Moses, "Oh, my lord! Please do not lay this sin on us, in which we have done foolishly and in which we have sinned.
12Please do not let her be as one dead, whose flesh is half consumed when he comes out of his mother's womb!"
13So Moses cried out to the LORD, saying, "Please heal her, O God, I pray!"
14Then the LORD said to Moses, "If her father had but spit in her face, would she not be shamed seven days? Let her be shut out of the camp seven days, and afterward she may be received again."
15So Miriam was shut out of the camp seven days, and the people did not journey till Miriam was brought in again.
16And afterward the people moved from Hazeroth and camped in the Wilderness of Paran.

Well, Brother Shultz, before you accuse me of owning certain books, of which you have absolutely no evidenece that I do in fact own, perhaps you might re-familiarize yourself with the Christian teachings regarding false and slanderous accusations. The Africans are more immoral than we are? When the white American Anglican homosexual priest was ordained a bishop earlier this year, what group raised the biggest protest about it? It was the African Anglicans. They threatened to break from the Anglicans unless this immortality was dealt with. If the white Anglicans don't clean up their act, the African Anglicans stand to suffer the most from the immortality of the West, for they must live with a large population of mostly hostile muslims who are pointing at them as being the carriers of immortality as demonstrated by that bishop.

I go to a coffee shop owned by an Egyptian muslim, and when this bishop got ordained, this muslim was scandalized. He asked me why the Christians are allowing it. "How can I bring up my children in such a country with this going on?" he asked me. What could I say? He blew off what I said about the general weakness of the Anglicans. He said, "You're all Christians. All the same to me."

I've quoted this already--"Judgement begins at the house of the Lord." It ought to be apparent that the main problem is with us, our sinfulness, our timidity and lack of faith, not the immigrants and other races. The right-wingers want them banished, and the left wingers dump them here in ghettos, put them on the welfare rolls, and do nothing to help them assimilate. Neither side will deal with these folks effectively or with wisdom. Yes, immigrant bring their own set of problems, but immigrants are here now, so instead of being afraid of them and defensive, we really ought to see them as an opportunity to bring Christ to them.

The Hebrew word for Ethiopian is Cushite - someone from an area called Cush. But there were two such places in those days. One where the country know as Ethiopia now exists and a second Cush to the north, around the center of the Mideast. However, since there's no mention in the OT of Moses ever being in the area now known as Ethiopia, then this "Cushite" wife of his was probably from the second area then known as Cush. This means there's no actual proof that his wife was black as you are assuming. If she was from the northern area known as Cush, she would have most likely been caucasian, but obviously of a non-Israelite group.

Well, George, maybe you can explain to me how people get AIDS. What specific behaviors cause the spread of AIDS? I'm speaking of methods of transmission besides those rare, unfortunate cases such as tainted blood transfusions. The fact is a person generally gets AIDS by relatively few ways:

1. Homosexual sex.
2. Promiscuous and/or unsafe hetrosexual sex.
3. Prostitution and whore-mongering.
4. Intravenious drug abuse.
5. Having sexual intercourse with a person or persons who are involved in any of the previous mentioned items.

The point is people who are living even a nominal Christian lifestyle or at least abstain from adultery, homosexuality, and promiscuity just don't get AIDS.

Even if what you are saying is true (which it isn't), I don't know anywhere in Christian teaching where is says that a good defence before the fearful Judgement seat of Christ for a lack of mercy and almsgiving is that "they brought this on themselves."

Dear Friends and Brothers in Christ,
I have read with some attention your messages, and perhaps some of it are unaware of the distinction between race and faith. A semitic, black , white or chinese person can become orthodox christian, but with the limits of his/her race and culture.
You think that an orthodox christian chinese must eat without sticks?
Perhaps you think that a (former) jew can become orthodox christian without all the cultural bargage of his/her race?
The Fr. James (Thornton)(and I do not know him) is in the Synod of Resistance of Metropolitan Cyprian (GOC), and the Assistant of the known ROCOR Bishop Alexander (Mileant) a very,very sober man,that appreciates him very much.
Do you think that him is a chaplain of the Ku Klux Klan?
