There is no Site notice on the website...neither do they tell you to which synod they belong. To me, that's dishonest.
What is a Site notice, by the way ?
The website is the site for European RTOC, but maybe the RTOC assumes that people just know that ?

That's the synod site, Father. I think Brother Nicholas is speaking of the shop.
It's something I find super annoying about putative Orthodox websites all around. Shops are the worst, but parishes as well. They almost never say whom they're under.
I understand why--every group claims their group is just the Orthodox Church--but it makes it difficult for me to tell whether that is, in fact, true. WO are worse but of course they have the added agenda of pretending we don't exist.
That's a GOOD point ! I have had that problem continuously at parish websites. They barely ever make it clear in which jurisdiction they are, or state who is their ruling Bishop so at least one can figure it out from that.
I still don't understand why they do that, though. Do you think it's intentional or just an oversight by the site designer sometimes ?
Besides that "We are the only Church in the World" mentality, could it also be that they fear they might turn potential parishioners away if they admit under which Bishop they are ?-!
