Eww ! I can't STAND that name !
Hopefully, this Evlogy will be different, though.
Thanks much for the update, Jean-Serge. I'll check that link next day or two.

Re: Romanian Old Calendar Orthodox Church (Slatioara)
Sorry for the confusion !
I was referring to the post-Russian Revolution Russian emigration in Western Europe's Metropolitan Evlogy [Georgievsky], who shifted bac and forth several times, but did spend time under the MP.
To be more precise, from wikipedia :
"From 1931 he was head of the Patriarchal Exarchate for Orthodox Parishes of Russian Tradition in Western Europe. He was at various times archbishop and metropolitan bishop of the Moscow Patriarchate, the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia and the Ecumenical Patriarchate."
When one considers that the Old Rocor was right THERE as the only REAL option for a Russian Orthodox jurisdiction, then Met Evlogy's erratic behavior strikes one as all the more suspicious. Why could he not have remained under Metropolitans Anthony and Anastassy ?
EGO ?!!!
I was searching for an image of Met Evlogy and found the old clip that is partway down the page at this link. The narration mentions Professor Ilyin. Does anyone know WHICH one he is ??

PS I need to do translation of the NEW Met Evlogy's bio from Romanian.
