I know little Greek, but what little study i have done, i find this work below a very useful resource, useful as it is an interlinear, and from what little study i have done find it very close to the Greek text used by the Church, it does also inform of differneces in texts at times.

Thanks David, i have ordered the commentary of the twelve Prophets.

I think i read somewhere it uses the RSV or NRSV, how does this work when the quotations are from the Septuagint, do they use the RSV as a sort of title for every verse, but still include the Septuagint quotations?

Ancient Christian commentary

Could anyone inform me if the Ancient Christian commentary series is worth getting?

Has anybody here read any of them and found them useful, or not?

For i have the writings of the Church fathers but i think they are Protestant translations, and i don't know of any Orthodox English translations of the early Church fathers.

Many years ago, my priest at the time told people to go ahead and read the available translations of the Church Fathers ...

I bought the pocket sized edition of the Orthodox New Testament, but it doesn't have the commentary.

I am thinking of buying the versions that have the commentary, but i'd like to know if the commentary is a new translation as is the New Testament text?
