I called Vladyka Andrei today and we were talking about the Shroud of Turin. He mentioned they did DNA testing on blood found on the Shroud and noted that they found maternal DNA, but no paternal DNA, and that the blood type was AB negative, which is very rare. He still views Orthodoxy through a Jungian lens. Which Jung was a Neo Gnostic occultist. I’m almost certain he’s a Freemason. Taking light for darkness and darkness for light. Neo platonic.

Yea. So, that makes a lot more sense. At one time it was probably in a purer form and has been edited. That’s why some passages seem to be prophetic and others are heretical.
