To update the thread. I found the quote from St. John Cassian. It's in the Conferences, Chapters 20 through 24 in Conference 8 deal with it most directly. On the publicly available PDF I found online it's pages 160-165. It's too long to post here in entirety.

I don't have much to add to what Eish said. St. Nikodemos mentions it explicitly in a work that should not be read. St. John Cassian also mentioned it as being heretical.
