Even though ROCOR was in communion with the New Calendarists, this doesn't make them ecumenist. Francis is, IMHO, just how Popes will look in the long run if the world lasts enough for that. The evil seeds of the Papacy started long ago and were slowly built up over time until everything exploded under Paul VI. He was definitely far more ruptural than Francis, but many other should be blamed ...

I believe my parish (in the Polish Orthodox Church) used to do that, it became obsolete, but men and women still split when going to communion, or cross veneration and antidoron. I heard the local Old Calendarist parish still does it, though, but, on the other hand, their women are unveiled.

I was just wondering if Old Calendarist groups might still have whole towns or even regions under them or if they would mostly represent niche things, just like Orthodoxy in general is niche in the West (maybe with the exception of parts of Guatemala).
