Today was the day of a Martyr Gelasios of Hieropolis. He was named "the Actor". I thought that was worth investigating.
But there was seemingly no material in English online. Perhaps he was a former actor who converted to Christianity,
as his date of martyrdom is given as 297.

It does sound much the same to me as well and of course open to abuse by bishops who just want to get the cases off their desks so rubber stamp the declarations of nullity.

Well, I don't know about all that but when Windows 10 told me I didn't have sufficient permissions to get into the Apps folder even as a supposed "Administrator", it kind of soured me on the OS. I'm still debating whether to delete it completely rather than just booting into the FreeBSD installation ...

I'm back in the darkness of uncertainty a bit. I'm not sure when "the Spirit proceeds from the Father and Son" was anathemized by a Council or someone universally regarded as a Church Father by 1015, the date Rome accepted the altered Creed.
