Persecutions against the ROAC in Russia increase!

In Russia, at the MP's request, the Russian government has increased its attacks on the Russian Orthodox Autonomous Church (ROAC). Even though the current ROAC temples have all passed inspections, the government is now reinspecting all of the ROAC churches and declaring them either not improved enough, or improved in unapproved ways! This excuse is used for the government to grab these temples and give them to their MP. In
addition, Metropolitan Valentine has been getting repeated calls
telling him to leave Russia for good while he still has time. Please pray for the faithful in Russia that are under these attacks purely for standing firm in the faith and not capitulating to the demands of the MP (The"Official" State-Run Church, the Moscow Patriarchate). No, these churches include ones that belonged to the historical ROC (The "MP" was only created by Stalin in the last 100 years) and churches that ROAC laity and clergy built with their own hands!

Matthew, the MP created by Stalin is not the same as the pre-revolutionary Russian Orthodox Church. Please read a good history of the ROCA (ROCOR) and the MP by a clergyman of the ROCOR and a teacher at the Jordanville Holy Trinity Seminary at http://EuphrosynosCafe.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7302

If it's true, the MP is silly for using such tactics. Don't they realise that they are only pushing people further into their delusions by encouraging a persecution/martyr complex? Didn't they learn their lessons from the Old Believers fiasco? Apparently not.
