Hello Euphrosynos members,
I came across this article that takes the cake on the delusions of the sectarians. What next? What lows, what blasphemies, could they possibly sink to now? Lord have mercy.
Reader Discretion advised.

Short write up about the full article:
"Worshipping Jesus Has Never Been Any S**ier!
Founded in 2010, the company’s website features teen models giving the camera their best PG-13 “come hither” looks, often wearing little more than tees and tanks splashed with slogans like “A Date With ** ”, “God Knows My Secrets,” and “Worship Crew.” OMG, with its Second Commandment-bending name, takes the seduction of young Christians in a new direction, with its products' odd syncretism between pop religion and hyper-sexualized pop culture. OMG’s website explains the mission: “We believe in sharing our faith & love through fashion while embracing our fun & characteristic lifestyle as well as giving back to the community.” The message I received from a tour of the website was that this fun and characteristic lifestyle is overtly sensual in nature. The imprinted messages splashed across the front of the tees baptize that sensuality in churchy language. It’s casual wear for the hot Christian girl or woman!"

As a Christian, parent and grandparent my feelings on briefly looking at this were revulsion, incredulity and puzzlement. Secular clothing producers and retailers have been regularly come in for flack because their clothing ranges sexualised children. Now we have a supposedly Christian company doing just that, and in the name of Christianity. The ways of the world and of Christ are separate as we are told in Scripture. Can these folks not read, or is the 'message' simply being appropriated to target a new market?
The place for these products is the fire, I would suggest.

Truly it is entirely blind and evil. They do not know God upon whom they imagine that they call.

This is sickening. This type of tripe gets passed of as being "Christian" by most people because they don't know any better. In fact many probably do not/would not see a problem with any of this. "I want to be a Christian and still be me." they might say.
" I want all this food, but none of that nutrition stuff. Food tastes good. Nutrition is boring."
God will judge.

There is talk about the pick and choose Christians, commonly referred to as Cafeteria Christians or as Cafeteria Catholics. Protestants can always pick and choose which doctrine to follow by simply changing their denomination. For example, there is an "Open Bible" church down the street from us, but they split from another Protestant church over the matter of clergy divorce and remarriage.
Catholics, on the other hand, are supposed to believe the whole enchilada that the Pope teaches, but many Catholics believe that they can pick and choose, so instead of honestly admitting that they are now Protestants (who protest what the Vatican teaches), they remain nominal Catholics, and then pick and choose which doctrines they will observe and honor. That is why there are "Catholics" who believe in abortion or the ordination of women.

Yeah it's pretty disturbing stuff. My parents are that type of Evangelical Protestant and I know several friends who are like that. I know several friends who were "baptized" with a spray bottle...go figure.
