There are two mentions of Christianity in Josephus. One is the passage in question; almost everyone these days agrees that this is an interpolation. There is less unanimity over the other but it makes weaker claims. If accepted it's pretty good evidence for the reality of Jesus but nothing more.
Josephus is important for historical context but not as a source of info on the early church.
