I found out that there are many different orders in World Orthodox churches in which people are given communion. Some said that the men took communion first and then the women, and others said that the alters servers went first. Both of these could be examples of modernism, in what order does the TOC give communion?
Order for Holy Communion.

Re: Order for Holy Communion.
This question is really impossible to answer. Is there one chalice? Multiple Chalices? Are there cloistered monastics communing in a side chapel?
Generally the clergy will commune first, with bishops, priests and deacons communing in the altar by rank and seniority. Readers would commune first in the nave. Is the altar server going to hold the cloth? Probably better commune before the people.
