Since we are not to post links or posts from Intra-TOC into the public forum, I have started this thread in Intra-TOC Polemics. No Maria, we are not in communion with the Archbishop Onofrio. Archbishop Onofrio, distanced himself from the Metropolia, during the approach "forced" with Moscow. The Archbishop Onofrius was part of the Synod of Milan, but I do not think can represent the "original spirit" of the Italian traditional Orthodox church under the guidance of Metropolitan Evloghios. We are all Italians or Italian Slavs, while Onofrio is romenian and not italian citizen and his community is Romanian too. I think he received the autonomy by Archbishop John and is in communion with Angelos and with a certain Raphael, but really I donn't know a lot about the mission of Onofrius.

As far as I know, Archbishop Onofrio, is currently in communion with Archbishop Basil of Ostia, deposed by the Synod of Milan in 2006-2007 and now apparently follows the new calendar. The ridiculous thing is that going against the canons, they are both Metropolitans of Italy ... and Onofrius declare Himself as old calendarist (Onofrius) while Basil is not. The former italian clergy of the Synod of Milan are Following His Grace Volodymir Bishopof St. Julius Island (http://mediolanum.me). I dont think Arb. Onofrius is in communion with HB John or HB Anghelos.

Sorry Maria, but I think the "Metropolitan" of Bergamo is the same person - Onofrius is the socalled "Metropolitan" of Bergamo

If so, this truly muddies the water, and places the Metropolitan of Bergamo in a Cyprianist position.
